Chilean-born guitar virtuoso Rodrigo Figueroa moved from his native Chile to Campbell River on Vancouver Island in 1993, and brought to Canada his distinctive musical style on guitar. He impresses audiences with his outstanding ability to play different styles of music including Spanish, Latin, Brazilian, Blues and North American. In addition to his versatility, Rodrigo's technical spectrum includes flat-picking, open tunings and a percussive approach to guitar techniques. 

Rodrigo's distinctive style of music has been enjoyed nationwide on CBC Radio and Television. Rodrigo has earned the privilege of playing with Sting, Chick Corea and Pat Metheny, and has been recognized by Eric Clapton. Combining his Latin roots with his North American home, Rodriogo's musical journey continues to evolve. His fourth album Ocean of Dreams is a portrait of this musical evolution and maturity.
